BARRUA ISOLA DEI NURAGHI AGRIPUNICA RED WINE (meg)

TYPE OF WINE: Red

WINEMAKING AND AGING: The must ferments with the husks at a temperature between 25 and 28 °C in heat-conditioned stainless steel tanks for a period of approximately 15 days. The entire mass is subjected to periodic reassemblies which facilitate the passage of the compounds present in the pomace into solution. The subsequent malolactic fermentation gives characteristics of softness to the wine which is then matured in French oak barriques for about 18 months. Afterwards, it rests in glass for at least 6 months.

AROMAS: Complex aromas of ripe red fruit - mainly black cherry - spices, notes of licorice and memories of myrtle.

ORIGIN: Sardinia
