TYPE OF WINE: white
GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Chardonnay
WINEMAKING AND AGING: After the harvest the grapes are left to ferment both in steel and in French oak barriques. Then the wine carries out malolactic fermentation in the same barriques. After maturation in wood for about 10 months, the wine is bottled and left to be aged in the bottle for about 24 months.
TASTE: The sip is wide, rich and elegant: balance and softness prevail. Persistent and long, on the palate the fruity and rich notes present on the nose appear again, with tertiary aromas, vanilla among all, and fine ones due to the maturation in wood.
IDEAL WITH: medium-aged cheeses, a first course of pasta with white truffle or foie gras.
ORIGIN: Friuli Venezia Giulia Eastern Hills
