The result of a careful and selected blend of 40 types of wheat whisky, with a full and balanced character; it owes its name to barrel no. 69 (the VAT precisely) which, in a tasting in 1886, a jury of tasters chose and preferred among all the others.
Bright gold in colour, the nose opens with hints of spices and caramel, light notes of barley malt and fresh fruit. In the mouth it appears round, smooth and clean, confirming the malty and spicy notes, the caramel and a touch of dry pastries. Boise finish
