BAROLO CLASSICO ODDERO RED WINE (meg)
TYPE OF WINE: red
WINEMAKING: Strict manual selection of grapes in the vineyard. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for 20 days takes place separately for the three vineyards, as does malolactic fermentation. Assembling in spring, bottling in late summer, further aging in the bottle for a period of six months.
AGING: Separate aging of Barolo from different vineyards in Austrian and Slavonian oak barrels, 40-60 and 75 hl, for a duration of 30 months.
AROMAS: Very pleasant, unmistakable, intense and ethereal aroma, very persistent, sometimes spicy, with hints of truffle, licorice, withered flowers.
